From Winter to Spring, from Stillness to Activation: Nurturing Intuition and Creativity

In nature, we see the dance between opposites happening quite clearly. Let's take the seasons as an example: Winter is the extreme time for hibernation, quietness, withdrawal and looking within; everything around redirect us for this calm time. Once we reach the extreme point of Winter, of deep introversion, the movement starts to flow towards the other opposite side of the spectrum and Spring arrives, bringing the energy upwards. From pure calmness, activation reignites within until its peak in Summer.

Having activation coming from a place of stillness is actually natural and so precious! That's because when we are in this calm state, with body and mind fully relaxed, we open space for intuition to come to surface and guide our steps forward.

I have experienced that myself and I have also witness many going through the same, specially when they come for frequent sessions of bodywork.

The basis of this process is the following: when diving in a deep state of relaxation, the body finds space to drop into the parasympathetic mode and trigger the innate movement of healing and reparation. At the same time, the mind also finds a moment for quietude. In this space, the mind is not busy overthinking, planning, analysing, moving to the past or projecting into the future. This sweet spot of body and mind relaxation allows another layer to kick-in: the one related to intuition and creativity.

When we are not receiving external inputs (as the body is resting and relaxing, eyes are closed, there is no talking) and the mind is at complete ease, we open space for the inner knowledge to come to surface. In moments like these, we have insights, ideas and resolution of topics/questions based on something not rational. It's pure intuition speaking to you.

From this place of relaxation, we have action arising from a base which is not only rational, but also intuitive, coming from that inner voice we all have within.

There are a few tools to help you reaching this deep state of relaxation and the sessions I offer is one of them.

If you are around Basel and would like to come to experience this amazing relaxation and healing state, book your session here.

Another tool I could offer you is the online Kaula Tantra Yoga Class, which is based on this concept of allowing the body to activate from a place of stillness. This class fits all levels and can be enjoyed from home, at anytime!

Let's get inspired by the arrival of Spring and create the time in our calendars to support ourselves being more connected and centered! It's time to start blooming from within!

Enjoy the beginning of Spring time!

with love,

Tarsi.
