Feeling Safe as one of the keys for healing
The first key to unlock the healing journey is to feel safe. If your body doesn't feel safe, it can't start to heal.

Our "inner system" often operates in "alert mode" to ensure we can meet the demands of our daily routines. This is natural and part of our survival instinct. In this mode, your body uses energy and resources to focus on external demands, keeping you alert and safe.
The key here is balance. Whenever you experience peaks of "alert mode," you also need moments in "relaxation mode." This balance is crucial because it's in the "relaxation mode" that healing, nourishment and cleansing occur. This is the moment when your inner resources are replenished, and you recharge your batteries.
However, you can't achieve "relaxation mode" if your environment isn't safe. Feeling unsafe immediately triggers the "alert mode" and healing must pause as all energy is redirected to keep you active and protected.
Once you feel safe, you have unlocked the first door of the healing process. Your body is now able to relax and enter the healing journey.
My support for you...
During the massage sessions I offer, I aim to provide the external safety your body requires to allow itself to fully relax. With that, we create the perfect container for you to shift gears and move to this deep restorative state, where your body will do it's magic and heal.
Internal safety is also important. That means being able to sense what is happening inside of you without pushing anything away. It's about accepting what is coming... we will talk about that later on this post :)
