The Third Stage of Healing - Integration

It all begins with an internal call for change, often emerging in the form of discomfort or pain, urging us to pay attention and embark on a journey of self-exploration.

As we become aware of this inner call for transformation, we find ourselves in a state of confusion. The old ways of doing things no longer seem to work, leaving us uncertain about how to proceed.

Navigating through this confusion, we gather information and remain open to life's diverse perspectives and possibilities. We have the freedom to explore different paths and try out new ways of being.

Along this path of confusion, we are starting to get in touch with different aspects of ourselves. The more curious and exploratory we are, the more we'll realize that there are various approaches, perspectives, ways of seeing life situations (inside and outside of us). We encounter a multitude of desires, voices, and shades of our identity.

In the integration phase, we learn to embrace all these parts of ourselves without judgment. We expand our inner space and perception even more, accepting the complexity of our being. We understand that we are a blend of diverse elements and have the power to transform ourselves repeatedly.

Some parts of us that once held sway may lose their dominance, leading to a complete shift in how we operate.

What once manifested as a physical call of discomfort or pain has now touched all other layers of ourselves - mind, emotion, spiritual - leading to transformation. This movement now syncs back to the body, manifesting itself physically. This particular healing process is now completed!

Let me share an example to make it easier to understand: someone with a hunched posture starts complaining about upper back pain or discomfort in the chest and belly. We are seeing the call for attention coming from the body (1st stage of healing). When diving inwards and expanding it to the other layers, we realize at the psychological and emotional level that there is a movement to protect one's heart. Confusion comes (2nd stage) - why would that be? how can I act differently? do I really want to act differently? I don't feel safe to open up, how could I shift this state? and so on. With curiosity and exploration, we start realizing we have several different voices and desires inside of us. The integration time starts (3rd stage) and all these facets can be perceived and accepted. We understand why the protection was put in place. We can see the beliefs that were created and we are able to take decisions on how to move forward from a place of expanded presence. Once such transformation takes place, all other layers will sync and update themselves. The hunched posture of protection starts to lose its grip. Your body can slowly readapt itself and open up to life again.

It's important to make it clear that I believe in a multi-professional approach for healing. All layers of ourselves being taken care of properly. Giving the nourishment required so the body, mind, and emotions have the resources needed for transformation to take place.

From my side, I can support you in this process with bodywork sessions where we focus on allowing the energy flow to be reestablished in your whole body. In addition to that, the state you get in while receiving a Thai Yoga massage, for example, allows you to expand your perception and strengthen the connection between mind and body.

Thanks,

Tarsi.
