How Chi Nei Tsang Aligns with the Autumn Vibes

As we transition from the warmth of summer to the cool and slightly chilly autumn, we're invited to align with the season's vibes of transformation and release. Just as the trees shed their leaves and the earth prepares for winter, our bodies and emotions also undergo shifts.

Chi Nei Tsang - the new practice I have just added to my offers - facilitates this process, offering a pathway to emotional release and renewal in preparation for winter.

The Season of Release

Autumn, in traditional Chinese medicine (TCM), is intimately connected with the Metal element. This element embodies qualities of precision, clarity, and discernment. It's a time when the natural world readies itself for the colder months, and in doing so, it releases what is no longer needed.

This process mirrors our own lives as we let go of the old to make space for the new. This way, we save our inner resources during the colder months, so we can focus on what's required to keep ourselves functioning during the "hibernation period".

In the context of emotions, autumn is associated with the Lung and Large Intestine meridians, which are connected to the emotions of grief and the ability to let go.

Just as trees release their leaves without resistance, autumn invites us to acknowledge and release any unresolved grief, sorrow, or emotional burdens we may carry.

Chi Nei Tsang and Emotional Release

Chi Nei Tsang is a holistic abdominal massage technique that draws heavily from TCM principles. It is particularly attuned to the autumn season's energies of release and transformation.

The treatment focuses on the abdominal area, which is often considered the body's "second brain" due to its role in emotional processing.

During a Chi Nei Tsang session, I'll apply gentle yet profound pressure and massage techniques to the abdominal region, including the vital organs. This approach creates a safe and nurturing space for emotional release.

Much like the trees shedding their leaves, Chi Nei Tsang helps us let go of emotional baggage, past traumas, and unresolved feelings.

Are you ready to dive into this new experience?

Thanks,

Tarsi.
