Emotional Presence as one of the keys for healing
After entering the healing state by feeling safe and quieting your mind, now it's time to use the key of emotional presence.
With a quiet mind, we have more space and energy to feel what is happening in the present moment. This means your attention is now free to be redirected to your body.
Emotions manifest in the body as sensations and energetic charges. It's that knot on the stomach, the tension on your chest, the tightness on your hip, the closure around your throat, the clenched jaw etc.
Emotions are "energies in motion". It's not a final state, but a process where energy and sensation move through the body changing their intensities and qualities.
Just like thoughts, they come and go, but this movement can only happen when we are present.

We are not responsible for the emotions that come-up in our bodies. Our responsibility is to be present with them. Therefore, it's crucial that you give yourself permission to feel everything that is happening within you without trying to rationalise it.
It's not the time for the mind the work... it's time for you to be present with your own body and all its messages.

As the client travels through the doors of safety and a quiet mind, they will dive in this state of presence with their bodies. Here, emotions might come up and start to move through different sensations in their bodies. We work together to embrace this state and navigate it using breath, compassion and kindness.
We are both witnessing this beautiful process where your own body unfolds each chapter of the healing journey... and this is such a gift!
